My mother-in-law Bev notified me that the US Open is the SINGLE largest sports revenue generator in NYC--that means more $$ than the Yankees, Mets, Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and the NFL Football teams that make their home here.

Also-- there was a huge upset in the Open today with the women! The Americans are holding their own.
